First split
Create the guild and the characters before this split. Guild and characters
Record the run, record who should receive what, share the dashboard, then disburse.
Record the run
An event is the record of this run. It is not the money yet.
The amounts, who pays, and who receives them are written on the settlement.
After this The run is listed, and no amount has been recorded.
Open the event form
This step opens the form so the run can be recorded.
Press “New event”. The submit button is “Create event”.
After this The event form is open.
Holder and participants
The usual miss is a field that is filled in, but filled in wrong.
When there is a drop, “Holder type” is the identity that currently holds the item. “Participants” are the people who joined this run. A settlement created later starts from both.
After this The holder and the participants are the ones the settlement will start from.
Find the item
The reward item is the drop this event records.
Type a keyword, then press “Search”. If it is not listed, create it below with “Create item”.
After this The event has a reward item.
Pick the event
Choose the event you want to split. The list starts with the last 7 days, including today.
For an older event, change “From date” and “To date”, then press “Apply range”. Press “Pick”. After that row reads “Picked”, the split for that event is open.
After this The settlement form is open for the event you picked.
Settlement type
“Sale” is only the “Settlement type” category.
It does not change the amounts or who receives them.
After this The settlement is categorized as Sale, and the amounts stay the same.
Enter the fee
“Change rule” is the fee. It can be a guild cut, an exchange fee, or a cut for selling the drop.
Choose “Percent” or “Fixed amount”. The form shows the calculated “Net amount”.
After this The net is what will be split, and nothing has been paid out.
Payer and split
Only an owner or an admin can set “Payer type” to someone other than the event holder. The choices are “Character”, “Org treasury”, and “Custom”. A member stays on “Character”, and that character is the event holder.
“Recipients” start as the event participants. Split them with “Equal”, “Weight”, or “Manual”. For “Weight”, use numbers that are easy to calculate. They do not have to add up to 100. Each weight is zero or greater, and the total is greater than zero. A share is that weight divided by the total weight, then multiplied by the net.
After this The net is split across the recipients, and nothing has been paid out.
Submit the settlement
“Create a settlement” opens the preview “What you are about to submit”. Check the net and each person’s amount, then press “Confirm and create”.
When the recipients are not the event participants, confirm once more before it is sent.
After this The settlement is recorded, and the money has not been sent.
See it on the dashboard
The settlement you just created shows up on the guild ledger dashboard.
Open “Guild ledger dashboard” and find that settlement.
After this The dashboard includes the settlement you just recorded.
Open the dashboard
You can open that dashboard from the “Ledger Hub”.
Press “View guild dashboard”.
After this The guild ledger dashboard is open.
Share the dashboard
Members can read this dashboard without an account.
Copy the entire address from the browser bar. Where members look, and viewing without an account, is covered in where members look and viewing without an account.
After this Anyone with that address can open the same dashboard without signing in.
Choose a disbursement mode
Press “Open payouts”. “By recipient” starts with one person and handles what is still waiting for them in one pass.
“By settlement” starts with one settlement, then you choose which people on that settlement are paid now.
After this One mode is selected, and no claim has been submitted.
Pick a recipient
The row you select reads “Picked”.
There is no separate button to change that choice. Press “Pick” on another row.
After this The selected row is the person this disbursement will pay.
Skip a settlement
The list is the settlements you pay for this character.
Clear the check on a settlement you want to hold back for now.
After this The checked rows are the ones this disbursement includes.
After disbursement
A submitted claim moves that settlement toward paid.
On the dashboard, “Pending claims” goes down, and the status moves toward “Paid”.
After this “Pending claims” is lower, and the status moves toward “Paid”.
When a settlement should not be paid, cannot be collected, or the amount has to change, continue with Corrections.
