Changelog
This page lists changes you can see in Raid Tome, newest first.
v1.0.0
Added
- Sign in with Discord, or connect and disconnect Discord on the account page. A guest whose browser is identified by Discord sees a banner. That identity lasts about 30 minutes. Registering or linking the account keeps the history.
- Ledger Hub opens a Discord bot page. Invite the bot, see the server name and icon, see whether the bot is still in the server, review the permissions Discord granted, and remove the bot. Choose one notification channel. Manage bot shows a red 1 until that channel is chosen.
- A link from Discord opens raid setup and posts into the channel where the panel was opened. You can set a title, start time, expected duration of 1 hour or 2 hours, message, banner, footer banner, game, post language, reminder, roster limit, waitlist limit, soft cap, and roles. You can sign someone else up as a temporary character or as another member of that Discord server.
- If Discord does not post the message, your entries stay on the page so you can send them again. When the guild has used its raid listings for the UTC week, a notice appears and the form stays on screen.
- A guild chooses Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese in one language picker. A raid post can use one Discord language, or none. Search matches the native name, the page translation, or the English name.
- A guild icon, a raid banner, and a footer banner can be an https image link. Imgur, Gyazo, Dropbox, and GitHub links become a direct image, and the form waits until a jpg, png, or webp preview loads.
- A guide link with no language prefix follows the browser language, and falls back to English without JavaScript. The Japanese guide includes Guild and characters (ギルドとキャラクター).
Changed
- Ledger Hub lists the Discord bot before records. Invite bot and Manage bot use Discord’s button colors.
- Creating a guild picks languages in that same picker.
- A missing or expired raid link says “This link is missing or has expired.” on its own line, then tells you to go back to Discord.
- The raid reminder shows a bell beside its checkbox.
- Traditional Chinese and Japanese cover Discord account linking, the language picker, the guild bot, and raid setup. Japanese keeps レイド募集 for raid listings. Discord permission names stay the names used in the Discord client.
Fixed
- A successful Discord sign-in continues into a signed-in session.
- A raid link from Discord opens raid setup and keeps the address you were given.
What this means
You can sign in with Discord, or connect Discord to an existing account, invite the bot for a guild, and choose one notification channel.
A link opened from Discord fills in a raid listing and posts it back to that channel.
Splits and payouts stay on the website. The bot does not record them.
An existing guild ledger does not need to be rebuilt. To post a raid from Discord, invite the bot from Ledger Hub and choose the notification channel.
v0.7.0
Added
- Ledger Hub groups a loot split, a contribution, and history. Manage guild opens the selected guild and shows applications that are waiting.
- From Ledger Hub you can record a contribution: choose a point unit, optionally link an existing event, split the points across characters, then confirm before it posts. The event list is paged. Guest and pickup events stay out of that list.
- Redeem points for one character. The page shows the recorded amount and stays closed until that amount covers the redemption. Only a guild owner or admin can record a contribution or redeem points.
- Pickup payouts sit apart from character balances. History can filter the Pickup roster, and a pickup payout slip opens without signing in.
- Before a settlement is created, you can confirm it. The payer can be a character, the org treasury, or a custom name, and a gold payout can post part of what is still unpaid.
- A GDKP pot can be recorded from an event that is ready, including the cut and the organizer.
- The public guide walks through guild setup, the first split, contributions, history, corrections, and guild pages in English, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese, using the same button names as the app.
Changed
- The guild overview shows sale amounts as revenue and the top contributions as commitments. Character point equity stays.
- The homepage speaks to MMO dungeon and party-loot groups, plays an example ledger, and shows adding a Steam or custom game. Getting started opens the First split guide.
Fixed
- A redemption posts as a deduction of the points you enter.
- Linking a contribution event that dropped nothing shows a blank item.
What this means
Ledger Hub is where you record a contribution, redeem points, and see pickup payouts apart from character balances.
Only an owner or admin can record a contribution or redeem. Redeeming deducts the points you enter, and it stays closed until the recorded amount covers it.
The public guide starts from guild setup, in English, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese.
The homepage is for MMO dungeon and party-loot groups, and it shows adding a Steam or custom game.
v0.6.1
Added
- A pending application shows on the guild lobby. You can cancel it there, or open the guild ledger dashboard.
- While an application is still pending, that guild stays out of the ledger and history menus, and the ledger workflow hub says so.
- Manage guild, Members, and pending confirmations show how many applications are waiting.
- When you apply, you pick one of the guild’s active games. Existing characters follow that game, and a new character is created for it.
- A new guild can start from a custom game: a name, a language, and an https site. Guild managers can add a custom game the same way.
- Game names on guild lists and the public guild page follow the page language.
- On the public guild page, a game opens on Steam or its official site. A custom game link asks before it opens.
Changed
- Guild managers add a game, choose the primary game, and archive a game from the character workspace, then save those together.
- Edit tags works on one game. One language is required, and a game can have up to 8 tags.
- Adding a catalog or Steam game uses the page language.
- A new guild character starts unassigned. You assign it later from Characters.
- Saving Edit tags uses the same status dialog as other saves.
- A shared dashboard link whose game was removed opens the primary game and explains that.
Fixed
- Owners and admins can approve or reject a pending application again.
- Picking a game tag refreshes the character list.
- After you delete a guild, leave, transfer ownership, or delete a character, the result shows instead of leaving the confirm dialog open.
- When you create a guild or add a game, a catalog search that already has matches can still continue on Steam.
What this means
On Find guilds, the game list only includes games a guild is already using.
You choose Steam or a custom game when you create a guild, or when that guild adds a game.
A pending application stays on the guild lobby, where you can cancel it. Owners and admins can approve or reject it.
A custom game needs a name, a language, and an https site.
v0.6.0
Added
- When you find or create a guild, you can search the game catalog. If the game is not there, you can search Steam and start the guild from that result.
- Staff can create an official game, edit its name, site, description, and aliases, and bring a Steam game into the official catalog.
- Guild managers can add or remove catalog games, choose the primary game, and attach official or custom tags.
- While recording an event or a settlement, you can add a character that is not on the roster yet.
Changed
- Find guilds starts on all games. A long game name stays on its own row.
- When a search finds the game but no guild, you can create one.
- Guild languages start from the page language. You can clear a language, and at least one stays selected.
- Settlement unit names follow the page language.
- Apply shows only for a signed-in visitor who is not a member and is not already applying.
Fixed
- An unassigned character stays unclaimed.
- The apply action reads 申請加入 in Traditional Chinese and 参加申請 in Japanese.
What this means
You can find or create a guild from the game catalog, or from Steam when the catalog does not have that game yet.
A game that is neither in the catalog nor on Steam still cannot be added from the site.
While keeping the ledger, you can add a character that is not on the roster. An unassigned character stays unclaimed.
v0.5.0
Added
- A guide, an FAQ, and this changelog.
- Guild roles and permissions: view permissions, create custom roles, and assign roles to members.
- Guild community links for Discord, LINE, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, X, Website, and Other, with an icon for each type.
Changed
- The three figures on the guild ledger dashboard line up, and the page is named Guild ledger dashboard.
- When you create a settlement, you can leave out some of the event participants.
What this means
People who keep the ledger can split the work by role instead of leaving every step to the owner.
Members can read the guide, or open a shared guild ledger dashboard link, and see what they can receive.
v0.4.0
Added
- Guild pages.
- Paid services through Ko-fi, including page credits, character slot plans, the pricing page, and sponsorship.
Changed
- The public site is raidtome.com.
- About, Privacy, and Terms are written for visitors.
What this means
A guild can have its own page and spend pages on character slots and sponsorship.
Payment goes through Ko-fi, so this site does not run its own checkout.
v0.3.1
Fixed
- You can record more than one item when you create an event.
What this means
A run with several loot drops no longer needs a separate event for each item.
v0.3.0
Added
- Item categories, character labels, and image upload.
- Eligible game items can be used by more guilds.
Changed
- Character labels and icons show on the guild ledger dashboard and in guild management.
What this means
Loot and characters are easier to recognize.
Guilds do not each have to recreate the same game items.
v0.2.1
Added
- From ledger history, you can void a record, write it off as bad debt, or issue a correction.
Fixed
- Character cards on the guild ledger dashboard show the correct receivable and payable amounts.
What this means
A wrong entry, or an amount you cannot collect, can be handled in ledger history.
The receivable and payable amounts on a character card match the ledger.
v0.1.1
Fixed
- Members with permission can see and use ledger screens that were previously blocked.
What this means
Keeping the ledger is no longer limited to the owner.
v0.1.0
Added
- The first version of creating events, creating settlements, and disbursing payouts.
- Guilds, members, and sign-in.
- The guild ledger dashboard can be opened without an account when someone shares the link.
What this means
You can finish one split from an event through payout.
Members can see the result without creating an account.
