Guild pages

Pages are this site’s balance for paid extras, like a top-up token in a game. They are not that game’s own currency.

Personal pages stay in your wallet. Pages credited to a guild are sponsorship for that guild, and they are not yours. You can belong to more than one guild, so the rl:org line names which guild receives them. An owner or admin of that guild chooses which paid features to turn on.

Your wallet and guild sponsorship

Personal pages are your wallet. Guild pages are sponsorship for one guild, and they stay with that guild. An owner or admin chooses which paid features to turn on. The balance does not follow you to another guild.

“Character slot packs” spend only “Guild pages”. “Personal pages” have to move into that guild before they can buy a pack. The balance on the “Guild Management” card is “Guild pages”. “Personal pages” are inside “Add pages”.

After this This payment is sponsorship for one guild, and it does not stay in your wallet.

The message names the guild

Matching reads only the opening rl:org and rl:user lines. Text below the dashed line is yours, and it is not used for credit.

A valid rl:org credits that guild and adds a 10% bonus. The page count is what the backend posts. Without a valid org tag, pages go to your wallet first. Personal pages match the Ko-fi payment email first. When that email does not match, rl:user is used. One US dollar converts to 50 pages. An amount under one dollar is a donation and is not converted into pages. A guild with no vanity cannot be credited directly.

After this The guild vanity in the message is the guild that gets the credit.

Pay from guild management

Sign in, and be a member of this guild. Open “Guild Management”.

Next to “Guild pages”, press “Add pages”, then press “Support on Ko-fi”. “Copy message”, “Open Ko-fi”, paste it into the “Ko-fi message”, then pay. The same card is also on “Guild pages”. The guild needs a vanity first, or rl:org will not name this guild.

After this This payment’s message carries the guild tag.

Confirm the guild received the pages

In “Guild Management”, open “Guild pages” from “Guild settings”.

The “Guild pages” balance increases. The ledger kind is “Ko-fi credit”. The page count, including the bonus, is the number the backend posts. “Personal pages” should not increase because of this payment.

After this The pages are in that guild.

If the pages landed in your wallet

Without a valid rl:org, or when the guild has no vanity, the pages are in “Personal pages”.

Back in “Guild Management”, press “Add pages”, enter a whole number of at least 1, then press “Convert”. This is 1:1, with no 10% bonus.

After this These pages are now sponsorship for this guild.

Buy character slot packs

Only the owner or an admin can turn on paid features, including buying character slot packs. A member can add pages and convert.

On “Guild pages”, press “Character slot packs”. One pack costs 825 guild pages, adds 50 character slots, and lasts 30 days. The free cap stays at 25. Choose 1 to 20 packs. With no packs yet, the number is a new purchase and the button is “Buy packs”. When packs are already active, the number is the new total and the button is “Set pack count”. Unused pages on this term reduce the charge and are not returned to that guild’s pages. This does not raise the “Guest event weekly quota”.

After this The character cap is higher, the screen shows “Next debit”, and “Guild pages” drop by the amount charged.

After the purchase

You can create more characters up to the new cap. Every 30 days, “Guild pages” are charged again.

Request a refund from Ko-fi, or refund that PayPal payment. This site does not handle refunds. Other paid items are on “Paid services”.

After this This guild’s character cap is higher, paid with guild pages.

Plans are on Paid services. Payment and refunds are also in How do I pay?.
