Contributions
Guild points are recorded on a character. The guild treasury owes those points.
Only a guild owner or admin can use “Record contribution” to record EP and other guild points, or “Redeem award”.
What the points mean
Guild points sit on a character. The guild treasury owes those points. On screen, this record is “Contribution”. “Point unit” is the name of those points, and guilds do not share one name.
EP is a contribution score a character earns by joining a run or a guild activity. GP is a guild point a character spends on a reward the guild has defined.
After this The points sit on the character, and nothing has been paid out.
Record the points
This step opens the form for the characters who earned points.
The card is “Record contribution”. Press “Record points”.
After this The contribution form is open.
Leave the event empty
Linking an event is optional. Leave it empty and the ledger creates an activity event for this entry.
The closed form shows “Link an existing event (Optional)”.
After this No event is linked, so the ledger will create an activity event for this entry.
Choose an existing event
Press “Link an existing event (Optional)”. Set “From date” and “To date”, then press “Apply range”.
Press “Choose event”. When an event is linked, its characters are filled in on this form.
After this The form is linked to that event, and its characters are filled in.
Split the points
Split the points with “Equal”, “Weight”, or “Manual”.
For “Weight”, use numbers that are easy to calculate. They do not have to add up to 100. Each weight is zero or greater, and the total is greater than zero. A share is that weight divided by the total weight, then multiplied by the points.
After this The points are split across the characters, and nothing has been paid out.
Confirm and post
Press “Record”. The preview “What you are about to submit” opens.
Check “Point unit”, “Total points”, and each character amount, then press “Confirm and post”. That confirm is what posts the contribution.
After this The contribution is posted.
Check the dashboard
On “Guild ledger dashboard”, the points you just posted show on the character card’s “Point equity”. Open “View point equity”, then check “Total contribution” for that point unit. On the overview, “Commitments, last 90 days” totals contribution by point unit.
“Revenue, last 90 days” lists each guild item and the amount recorded for it in that window. “Settlements, last 90 days” and “Last updated” sit on the overview. “Last activity” sits on the character card.
After this “Total contribution” for that point unit includes the points you just posted.
Redeem the points
Redeem is how a character spends points the guild already recorded, on an action or reward the guild’s own rules allow.
Open “Redeem award” and press “Redeem points”. The guild treasury owes that redemption. It does not send the reward by itself.
After this The redemption is recorded, and the reward has not been sent.
